THE CLASS 4 SWITCH AT ITS BEST

TELES's C4 is a class 4 NGN/IMS softswitch that has all the prerequisites to satisfy Level

1 and Level 2 operators in the market. It offers a very high availability of 99.999 %.

This softswitch is based on a modular cluster distributed architecture and enables you

to reduce OPEX.

This TELES MGC (Media Gateway Controller) is a network core solution with

unsurpassed scalability, which is just as suitable for small-scale and large-scale

deployments.

Due to its very high CPS performances, the TELES softswitch is ideal for managing

loads with high peaks or value added services involving short-duration mass calls. It

supports all the usual applications required by operators including functionalities such as

Toll Tandem, Wholesale, Long distance, Multi-operator interconnection, portability, etc.

This signaling platform has all the ISDN and SS7 ISUP protocols including most of the

national variants. Its SIGTRAN/IUA plug-in also enables it to support a complete range

of Media Gateways thanks to the MEGACO and MGCP control protocols and therefore to

guarantee CAPEX investments. Its high-performance B2BUA mode is enriched with the

SIP-I and SIP-T protocols and the RTP proxy mode enables Call by Call Transcoding.

All the Softswitch functionalities are complemented by one of the most flexible and

powerful routing engines on the market.
